She was predeceased by: her parent Wilmer C. Auckerman; her husband Frank Smola; her son Paul Smola; and her siblings, Raymond Auckerman, Russell Auckerman and Eleanor Vargo.

She is survived by: her parent Mary Auckerman (Filtz).
