He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George L. Rizzo Jr. of North Huntingdon and Peggy Ann Rizzo (Ervin); his children, Aaron Rizzo and Elizabeth Rizzo of North Huntingdon; his stepchildren, Kandis Miller of Irwin, Katie Smith of Mt. Pleasant and Dayton Wolfe of Darragh; his sister Lisa Schmotzer (John) of North Huntingdon; and his nephew Nathan Schmotzer. He was also cherished by six grandchildren.
