He was predeceased by: his parent Harold Bergman; and his siblings, Donald and Carole Ann Aiken. He is survived by: his parent Hazel Peterson Bergman; his wife Nancy; his sons, Drew (Sandi) and Brian; his grandchildren, Jesse, Brian, Beth Mitchell (Rick), Aaron and Nicolina; and his great grandchildren, Aria and Richard.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour.
