He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Sr. Sage and Alice L. Sage (Lowrey); his son Steven R. Sage; and his siblings, Viola Gray and Paul E. Sage.
He is survived by: his wife Judith A. Sage (Magdic) of North Huntingdon; his children, Amanda M. Sage of North Huntingdon, Robert J. Sage III of North Huntingdon, Mark A. Sage (Brenda) of North Carolina and Bonnie J. Sage Campbell (Sam) of Uniontown; and his sister Nora Domico (Jeff) of Uniontown. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
