He is survived by: his parent Francis Mazzei (Soloman); his children, Samuel R. Mazzei Jr (Lauren) of Industry, North Huntingdon of Industry and Joseph R. Mazzei (Tammie) of Industry; his grandchildren, Catherine E., Joseph S. and Katie M. Mazzei; and his brother Robert Mazzei of Alison Park. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
