She was predeceased by : her parents, George Elkanic and Mary Hyduk Elkanic (Albert Mendicino); her husband Albert Mendicino; her siblings, Andrew Elkanic (Helen) and Ann Mihoces (Edward); and her pet Gordon.

She is survived by : her daughters, Monica Semanisin (Richard) of North Versailles and Nadine Erdody (Dave) of Vero Beach, FL; her sister Helen Dragos of Greenock; and her great grandchild Joseph Brown. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
