She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilfred Burkhart and Catherine Burkhart (Litzinger); her husband Francis Plouse; her granddaughter Gabby Heming; and her brother Wilfred Burkhart.

She is survived by : her children, Sean (Melanie), Dan Plouse (Elaine) and Kathleen Heming (Scott Eckenrode); and her siblings, Joseph Burkhart (Peggy), Mary Ann Morgan (Leonard), Patton, Rose (Kenneth), Georgia and Ronald Burkhart.
