We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2025, at the age of 76, Glenn R. Wantje Sr. of Oakdale, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Glenn may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wantje and Gladys Wantje; and his siblings, John Wantje and Janet Barringer. He is survived by: his wife Barbara L. Wantje; his children, Glenn Wantje, Jr. (Beth) and Adrienne Baker (Jeff); his grandchildren, Rex and Grace Wantje; and his sister Susan Wantje.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Glenn's memory to any cancer foundation of your choice or to the North Fayette Fire Department, honoring his generous spirit and deep connection to his community.
