With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen R. Goreczny of Oil City, Pennsylvania, born in Marble, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 5, 2024 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen R. Goreczny to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her sisters-in-law, Mary Aleksiewicz and Sandy Goreczny of Rouseville; her son Stephen Goreczny (Marty An); her niece Roseanne; her great grandchild Clyde Oelkrue; and her brothers, Edward Kaltenbaugh and Mike Schill.

She is survived by : her parents, Edward Kaltenbach and Louise Beichner Kaltenbach; her children, Stan Goreczny of Oil City, Thomas Goreczny (Sheri) of Oil City, William Goreczny of Oil City and Barbara Goreczny of Reno; her grandchildren, Leanne, Andrew, Stevie Nicole, Ross, Stephanie and Brittany; and her siblings, Dan Schill of Venus and Debbie Beichner of Kossuth. She is also survived by her parents and husband.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Reinsel Funeral Home & Crematory (116 Bissell Ave, Oil City, PA 16301). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the St. Joseph Church (35 Pearl Ave, Oil City, PA 16301).

Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Garden, Memorials may be made to a charity of ones choice.
