He is survived by: his wife Louise "Sis" Shontz; his children, Tambra (Michael Eismont), Marlene (Bob Aylesworth), Dara Shontz of Oil City, Andrew Shontz of Georgia, Sally Shontz (John Krosnicki), Dana, Roger Hartle of Crossville, TN, Patrick and Kolleen Tarr of Titusville, PA.; his grandchildren, Angela (Aric Kuhanick), Tina Eismont (Michael Zaccaria), Matthew (Stephanie Myers), Sarah Aylesworth (Dan Reed) of Reno, Mark Smith (Michelle Krosnicki) of Oil City, Josh Perry of Branson, MO, Ryan, Kathy Perry of Meadville, PA, Keith, Michelle Tarr of Titusville, PA, Lucas Tarr of Erie, PA, Zack and Spencer Tarr of Quincy, MA.; his siblings, Sherry Chappell of Frankfort, KY, Cary, Finette Shontz of Dunnellen, FL, Becky and Ivan Ruth of Franklin, PA; and his brother-in-law Richard Ruth. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
