He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth E. "Betsy" Barrett; and his daughter Lisa McGinnis (Brett) of Chicago, IL..

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (35 Pearl Ave, Oil City, PA 16301).

Memorials may be made to any Veteran Related Charity.
