He is survived by: his wife Betty Mays Tarpley; his sons, Leo Jr. of Detroit, MI and Vincent L. of Houston, TX; his siblings, Aseneth Blackwell and Joseph Mays (Bernice); and his cousin Herbert (Eleanor Mays). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
