Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her brother Peter Gary Fries; her daughters, Christine Kalogeris, Jennifer Kraus and Heather Kraus; her grandchildren, Matthew Kalogeris and Lauren Kalogeris Hepler; and her great grandchild Makenzee Kalogeris.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Timothy K. Slater Funeral Services, Inc. (425 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15210). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Cemetery (920 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15210).
