It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John E. Hughes of Olyphant, Pennsylvania, born in Archbald, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 7, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Hughes and DeSales Morrow Hughes; his brothers, Patrick and Thomas Hughes; and his sister-in-law Janet Hughes.

He is survived by : his friend Beaner Curtis; his brothers, Edward Hughes (Theresa) and William Hughes (Maureen) of Archbald; his sister-in-law Susan Hughes of Binghamton; his nephews, Edward Hughes (Amy), Michael Hughes (Michelle), Patrick Hughes (Ryann) and Stephen Hughes (Shanna) of Binghamton; and his niece Amy Hassaj (Bob) of Archbald.
