It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary A. Avasine (Olyphant, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 24, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Michael P. Avasine; and her brothers, Frank, Vince Orlowski and Stanley Bernatowicz. She is survived by : her children, Marie Gulbin of Union Dale, Joseph Avaschieri (Carol) of Dickson City and Marlene Yzenas of Olyphant; and her sister Helen Krowiak (John) of Endwell, N. Y. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

Mary's favorite charity was St. Francis of Assisi Kitchen, 500 Penn Ave., Scranton, PA 18503. The family requests memorial donations go to St. Francis.
