He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Eyer and Pearl Eyer (Mackey); his wife Jean W. Eyer (Kohr); and his siblings, Jean Green and Richard Fritz.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen H. Eyer (MaryEllen), Samuel A. Eyer, Jesse D. Eyer (Annette) and Jennie L. DeShong (Ronald); and his sister Bonita Henry. He is also survived by six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
