He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Sterner and Mary Sarvas Sterner; and his siblings, Dolores Heiser and Robert Sterner. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Blakely; and his siblings, Rosemary Biever and Carl W. Sterner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
