With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sheldon Claycomb of Osterburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 24, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Claycomb and Ardella Claycomb (Weyant); his wife Violet Eicher; his son Kelly Claycomb; and his siblings, Curtis (Violet), Dean (Ruth), Vernon (Rhoda), Alton (Zelma), Merle (Edna), Rayford (Betty), Leahbelle (Joe Hofmann), Darle and Opal.
He is survived by: his children, Richard of Osterburg, Lon (Pam), Amy (Carl Brenner) of Bakers Summit and Holly Claycomb of Osterburg; his grandchildren, Mathew "Frank" Claycomb of Osterburg, Bradley Claycomb (Autumn), Brandon Claycomb (Christine) and Jessica (Casey Herbert) of Bedford; his great grandchildren, Korbin, Kaydence, Briar, Gage, Nash, Tad, Ridge, Noelon, Sugaree and Breckin; his sisters-in-law, Mary Claar of Claysburg, Alice Brown of Queen and Gail Eicher of Claysburg; and his pets, Tweeter, Simon and Theodore. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Claysburg Food Bank, a local animal shelter or a charity of your choice.
