He is survived by: his wife Sharon Bowser; his children, Roland Markle Jr. (Chris), Lesa Bondura (Mario), Cindy Emerick (Aaron), Heather Kegg, Jamie Fletcher (Scott), Rebecca Bowser, Tina Scalla (Ed) and William J. Bowser II; his siblings, John Bowser (Betty Shankle), Joe Bowser (Peggy Bowser), Jean Benton and Judy Tullos; and his grandson Aaron Emerick II. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren.
