We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2025, at the age of 85, Beulah Marie Johnston of Oxford, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Passmore Johnston, Jr.; her parents, Isaac Gentry and Grace Lovins Gentry; and her daughter Cheryl Ruoss. She is survived by: her children, David Johnston (Nancy) of West Chester, Shawn Johnston (Vanessa) and Darlene Johnston (Jack) of Oxford; her grandchildren, Christina Johnston (William) of Kennett Square, Angela Reyes (Rob) of Kennett Square, Dakota Ruoss (Kerstin) of Quarryville and Michael Ruoss, Jr. of Oxford; and her siblings, Ike Gentry, Jr., Roy Gentry and Annie Harpe. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kennett Square Missionary Baptist Church (408 Bayard Rd, Kennett Square, PA 19348). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
