He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Louise (Pinky); his parents, Charles Vaughan and Rose Edwards Vaughan; his son Jimmy W. Vaughan; his grandson Jimbo Portwood; and his siblings, Dean Vaughan, Carl J. Vaughan and Lee Gibilisco.
He is survived by: his children, Edward C. Vaughan, Jr. (Wendy) of Nottingham, Ted Vaughan (Kathy) of Perryville, MD, Sandra Shephard (Joe) of Port Deposit, MD and Betty Portwood (James) of Coconut Creek, FL; his daughter-in-law Brenda Vaughan of New Providence; and his siblings, Eugene Vaughan, Tom Vaughan, Bobby Frazier, Alice Cullimore, Rosalee Frazier and Nancy Frazier. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church (303 W Christine Rd, Nottingham, PA 19362). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church.
