With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne Heverly of Oxford, Pennsylvania, born in Accomac, Virginia, who passed away on May 23, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Joanne departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joanne may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joanne leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Leisa Heverly Haga; and her sisters, Dorothy Brant and Diane Faralli. She is survived by: her husband William Heverly; her daughter Vicki Hoak (Tim); her sister Karen McEwee; and her son Don Heverly. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Arlington Cemetery (2900 State Rd, Drexel Hill, PA 19026).
