Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Richard leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Irvin Plyler and Eva Woodall Plyler; his wife Jessie A. Watt Plyler; and his brothers, Robert W. Plyler and James I. Plyler.
He is survived by: his children, R. Douglas Plyler, Mark Plyler (Carolyn), David Plyler (Cathy) and Lisa Glass (Tom). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; as well as 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kuzo Funeral Home (250 W State St, Kennett Square, PA 19348). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at the Longwood Cemetery (945 E Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square, PA 19348).
