He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Darnell and Lura Darnell; his wife Mary V. Darnell; his son Carl E. Darnell; and his siblings, Dorothy Darnell, Guy Darnell, Grace Blevins Arms, Blanche Price, Maude Riale, Clarence Darnell and Florence Russell.
He is survived by: his daughter Diane L. Darnell; and his brother Carl Darnell (Joyce). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
