It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred A. Schlert Sr. of Palmer Township, Pennsylvania, born in Easton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 1, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Theodore Schlert and Anna Schlert Altenbach (Pasch); his wife Marylou Schlert (DeRose); his sons, John M. and Alfred A. Schlert; his grandson Andrew T. Schlert; and his siblings, John T. Schlert and Elizabeth "Betty" Breiner.
He is survived by: his sons, Ted A. Schlert (Anne) of Glen Mills, PA and Bishop; his granddaughter Caitlin Levin (Jeremy); and his great grandchild Theodore Andrew Levin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
