With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene Hammerstone (Palmer Township, Pennsylvania), born in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 31, 2020 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mayrosh, Jr. and Sadie Mayrosh (Hartley); her husband Joseph S. Hammerstone; and her siblings, Thomas Marlyn, Stephen, John, James, Donald Mayrosh and Bertha Gallagher.
She is survived by: her children, Erich Hammerstone (Kathleen) of Easton and Carol Ann Adelmann (Alfred) of Stroudsburg. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 132 S. 5th Street, Easton, PA 18042.
