She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hefler and Helen Hefler (Krause); her husband John R. "Jack" Young, Sr.; and her children, John R. "Chip" Young, Jr. and Diane L. Miller.

She is survived by: her son James R. Young (Germaine Diehl) of Palmer Township. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
