He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl J. Cathers and Carrie Cathers (Leh); his wife Brenda D. Cathers (Snyder); and his brother James Cathers. He is survived by: his daughter Suzanne M. Haney (Edward) of Palmer Township; his siblings, William Cathers of Harmony Township, NJ, Butch Cathers of Bangor, Paul Cathers of Phillipsburg, NJ and Ruthann Osmun of Delaware, NJ; his granddaughters, Krista Trimmer (Jason) of Wilson Borough and Marissa Haney (Rick Gross) of Emmaus; and his great grandchildren, Jadah, Cayden Trimmer, Ava and Travis Deemer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
