He was predeceased by: his parent John Ippolito; his wife Lucy Burgio Ippolito; and his siblings, Salvatore Rita, Nick Rita, Paul Rita, Nancy Rita and Van Rita.

He is survived by: his parent Antoinette Grifo Ippolito; and his daughter Antoinette Philips (Roger).
