He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles Anderson and Beulah VanDeMark Anderson; his wife Anna May Waterman Anderson; his sons, Nelson Anderson, Jr. and Gerald "Gerry" Anderson; and his siblings, Robert, Edward, Roy, John, Miles, Anna (Emma Anderson), Naomi Wilsey, Ruth Hartman and Beulah Mae Barron (Lois Buttons).
He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Bellamore (George, Jr.) of Saylorsburg, PA; his grandson George "Geoy" Bellamore III; and his siblings, Ralph of Tunkahannock, Lyle Anderson of Tunkahannock, Raymond Anderson of Wilkes-Barre, Shirley Weaver of Tunkahannock and Thelma Anderson of Scranton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
