It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Schlegel of Palmer Township, Pennsylvania, born in Easton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 14, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schlegel, Sr. and Olive Havens (Tobin); his brother John Schlegel, Jr.; and his close friend Augusta D. Frace. He is survived by: his children, Richard Schlegel (Cathy) of Lancaster, PA, Scott Schlegel of Orlando, FL, Troy Schlegel of Easton, April Herr (Brian) of Annville, PA and Tracy Sikora (James) of Fredericksburg, PA; his stepchildren, Jeffrey Frace of Easton and Bonnie Shiller of Easton; and his sisters, Charmaine Teschner (Rick) of Whitehall, Charlene Galbavy of Easton and Deborah Kichline (David) of Wilson Borough. He is also survived by six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
