He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Allen and Pearl Allen (Daubert); his wife Lois Allen (Vandegrift); his daughter-in-law Deborah Allen; and his brother Donald Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Gary R. Allen (Franette) of Allentown, Duane R. Allen of Hellertown, Wendy Allen of Bethlehem and Cynthia Lawson (Dale) of Palmer Township; and his close friend Freda Fries. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews.
