He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Vayda and Edith Vayda (Hajmasi); and his sister Barbara Heebner. He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his stepchildren, Timothy Rose and Tania Rose of Easton; his brother Stephen Vayda (Joan) of Phillipsburg, NJ; his nephew Stephen Vayda; and his niece Lisa Van Varik (Roger). He is also survived by four step-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Center for Animal Health & Welfare, 1165 Island Park Road, Easton, PA 18042.
