He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon G. Altemose, Sr. and Anna Altemose (Miller); and his siblings, Charles Altemose, Edith Powell and Alice Pristash.
He is survived by: his stepmother Elda Stout Altemose; his children, Pam Valcante (Gregory) of Gainesville, FL, Matthew Altemose (Bonnie) of Easton, Gregory Altemose (Kathy Haines) of Troy, MI and David Altemose (Rachelle) of Palmer Twp; and his sisters, Marion Starner of Lancaster County and Frances Stoudt of Nazareth. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren;10 great-grandchildren.
