He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Stone and Anna Stone (Wertley); his daughter Judy Frankenfield; and his siblings, Jack Stone, Herb Stone, Eleanor Elliott and Louise Oros.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Stone (Troxell); his son Stephen W. Stone (Laurel) of Bethlehem; his grandchildren, Andrew, Connor Stone, Joshua Frankenfield and Laura Choromanski (Steve); and his great grandchild Anna.
