He was predeceased by: his parents, David Merlo and Edith Merlo (Sardino). He is survived by: his wife Sylvania Merlo; his children, Lisa Ross (Jim), Perry Merlo (Andrea) and Scott Merlo (Stacey); his grandchildren, Matthew, Caitlin Ross, Serena, Christopher Merlo, Courtney, Michelle, Allison Merlo, Bobby Vale and Shannon Craig; and his sister Carol.
