He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Melvin, Sr. and Mable Irene Dice (Buck); his former wife Faye Geraldine Dice (Summers); and his sisters, Thelma Dice and Catherine Kiscadden.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Rebecca Myers Dice (Gluck); his daughter Lynne L. Swider (Thomas) of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, Lt Colonel Robert T. Hines, Jr., Michael John Dice Hines, Catherine "Cat", Sarah and Julia Hines; and his stepchildren, Melissa Burrous of Wellsboro and William Judy of Millersburg.
