With solemn reverence, we commemorate Genevieve A. VanderWaal of Parkesburg, Pennsylvania, whose life came to an end on October 23, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Cimino and Mamie Catanio Cimino; and her siblings, Carmella, Marie, Rita, Eleanor and Samuel.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Cureton (Jean) of West Chester, PA, Christina Bushnell of Reading, PA, Lisa D'Ascenzo of Parkesburg, PA and George D'Ascenzo of Reading, PA.; her grandchildren, Samuel, Christopher, Laura and Caroline; and her sister Barbara Testa.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Norbert's Catholic Church (6 Greenlawn Rd, Paoli, PA 19301). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
