We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2019, at the age of 62, Gary L. Gernak (Penbrook, Pennsylvania), born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gernak and Betty Gernak (Rose); and his daughter Alexandra Rebecca Gernak. He is survived by: his wife Sue Gernak (Cook); his children, Noelle Stefanowicz of Harrisburg, Helena Gernak (Jonathan Taylor) of Highspire, Chelsea Gernak of Harrisburg and Gary Gernak, Jr. of Harrisburg; his stepdaughter Angie Berkheimer (Luke) of West York; his grandson Nathaniel Stefanowicz; and his stepgrandsons, Max and Owen Berkheimer.
