She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois Jean Hughes Gillis and Gordon Malcolm Gillis, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Olivia M. J. Grier and James A. Grier; and her siblings, Karen M. Baker (Carl L. Baker III), Joan M. Hotovcin, Peggy J. Basham (Brad Folts), Gordon M. Gillis, Jr., Keith A. G. Gillis (Missy Gillis) and David B. Gillis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
