It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha Jane Heist (Penbrook, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 1, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine (Cless) and Walter Heist, Sr.; her sister-in-law Catharine Heist; her nephew Walter Heist, III; and her great-nephew Brian Paparella.
She is survived by: her brother Walter Heist, Jr.; and her sibling's children, Donna Myers (Chuck) of Etters, Bonnie Paparella (Ralph) of Womelsdorf and Donald Heist (Susan) of Harrisburg. She is also survived by seven great nieces and nephews, and nine great-great nieces and nephews.
Due to the current circumstances surrounding the Coronavirus, a private graveside service and interment will be held at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Harrisburg, with Rev. Kathleen J. Baker, of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either the Masonic Villages, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3700 Rutherford Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
