She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine Sylvester (Getty) and Americ Sylvester; her spouse Merle Bennett, Jr.; and her grandson Brian Mostel. She is survived by: her children, Dean Bennett, David Bennett, Debra Mostel, Laura Knight and Lisa Bibel (James); her grandchildren, Jeff Bennett, Charles Mostel, Gregory Mostel (Michelle), Daniel Loxterman, Christopher Loxterman, Meredith Bennett, Emily Bibel, Jesse Bibel and Christian Bennett; and her great grandchild Samuel Mostel. She is also survived by her family and friends.
