He was predeceased by: his niece Deborah Warren; and his parents, Henry Heffner and Vina Heffner. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Heffner; his children, Virginia Wright, Renee Roehrs (Doug), David Mantick (Elaine), Denise Grasinger (Raymond) and Valerie Edwards (Shannon); his grandchildren, Drew, Joshua, Mara, Justin, Alicia, Michel, Sean, Brittany, Aaron and April; his great grandchildren, Dylan, Jaykub, Isabella, Cali, Blake, Jon, Levi, Liam and Lilliana; his sister Grace Deer (Roy); and his sibling's children, Denise Ruggiero (Jim), Sam Deer (Jackie) and Diana Jones (Ronald).
