He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn D. Komisak (Filip); and his sister Anne Lankford. He is survived by: his children, Karen Bageant (Kenneth) and David Komisak; and his sisters, Mary Puskar, Julia Stefick and Helen Sopcak. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice 3835 Northern Pike Suite 3, Monroeville PA 15146.
