He was predeceased by: his wife Anne Marie Baklarz; and his child Karianne Baklarz Gleason. He is survived by: his children, Donalee Benish (Tom), Leonard J. Baklarz, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Lisa-Jo Rygelski (Ronald); his brothers, Ralph Baklarz and Clarence Baklarz; and his grandchildren, Natalie Jackson, Christopher Trunick, Leonard J. Baklarz, III, Melissa Bruning, Lauren Tomasino, Michael Baklarz and Matthew Rygelski, II. He is also survived by nine great -grandchildren.
