With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Louise Freilino-Glunt of Penn Hills, Pennsylvania, born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 7, 2023 at the age of 56. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Joseph, Ida Banichar and Gilbert Freilino. She is survived by: her parents, John Banichar and Karen Freilino; her grandmother Dolores Jean Freilino of Leechburg; her siblings, Matthew Banichar of Leechburg, Nicola Batts (Cornelius) of Lithia, FL and Margaret Banichar (Scott Powell) of Leechburg; and her aunts and uncles, Mary Louise Banichar of Skillman, NJ, Debra Claypool (Ron) of Leechburg, Gilbert Freilino (Wendy) of Delmont and Joseph Banichar (Nancy) of Leechburg.
In lieu of flowers, her family suggests donations in memory of Maria may be made to the Leechburg Area Museum & Historical Society, PO Box 156, Leechburg, PA 15656; or to Champion's Crusaiders Rescue, 2687 River Rd., Vandergrift, PA 15690.
