He was predeceased by: his brother Clifton D. Pope; and his parents, Clifton B. Pope and Erma L. Pope (Stockton). He is survived by: his wife Rhonda B.; his children, Geoffrey Pope (Sarah Kimmerling), Alyson Malloy (Brendan) and Lauren Fitzroy (John); his grandchildren, Samantha Pope and Ellie Pope; and his siblings, Lois Reed (David), Sandra Short (late Herbert), Darnell 'Jeff' Pope (Deborah), Gale Strozier (Harrison), Beverly Holliman and Dennis Pope. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
