He was predeceased by: his parents, Donna L. Burkardt and Robert F. Burkardt; and his sister Pamela Burkardt. He is survived by: his siblings, Janet Burkardt, Meg Burkardt and Elizabeth Burkardt; his daughter Jessica Burkardt; his grandson Brandon Thompson II; and his siblings' children, Bryant Dill, Pamela, Joel Shackelford, Kaitlyn Ross, Kevin Burkardt, Margo Ross and Natalie Burkardt.
Masks and social distancing required, no more than 25 people in the funeral home at a time. Services and interment in the Verona Oakmont Cemetery will be private for the family.
