He was predeceased by : his parents, Andréa Pampena and Ersilia Pampena (Tarquini). He is survived by : his wife Annamarie Simeone Pampena; his children, Andrew Pampena, Sandra L. Pampena, Valerie L. Caban and Laurie Anne Matthews (Jeff); his grandchildren, Samantha Yost (John), Nicholas Pampena, Danielle Harris (Mark Kiesel), Christopher E. Caban, Jacob L. Matthews and Colton J. Matthews; and his great grandchildren, Ada Marie Yost and Sante Kiesel. He is also survived by three brothers, special sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William F. Gross Funeral Home, Ltd. (11735 Frankstown Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15235). A prayer was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Parish St. John the Baptist Church (444 St John St, Pittsburgh, PA 15239).
