He is survived by: his children, John Shontz (Kirsten) of Elizabethtown and Lisa Emmett (Bill) of Knoxville, TN; and his stepchildren, Tricia Geppert of Penn Hills, Gina Tiani (Tony) of Plum Borough and Suzin Stophel (Mike) of Export. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
